Regency Park is operated by Harbor Retirement Associates, LLC, headquartered in Vero Beach, Florida. The company serves independent and assisted living communities throughout the Southeast and Midwest. President and CEO, Tim Smick is widely respected for his role in shaping the senior housing industry and guide the company with leadership experience and the highest level of integrity. Regency Park represents his dream of developing a unique service-oriented, resident-centered, resort-style retirement community.
What types of residences are offered at Regency Park?
To help you maintain the lifestyle you’re accustomed to, we offer multiple residence options. You can choose from charming villa homes purchased through an equity investment program featuring a 90% return of investment, or spacious apartment homes for an annual lease.
Apartment homes range from 668 to 1,622 square feet. Choose from nine different floor plans featuring a full kitchen, laundry area with washer and dryer, dining and living areas, den options and spacious bedroom suite(s) including screened lanais and highly desirable corner plans. For greater convenience, enclosed corridors leading to the Clubhouse provide easy, comfortable passage to dining and amenity areas during inclement weather.
Villa homes range from 1,637 to 2052 square feet. Each home features a full kitchen, separate laundry room with washer and dryer, spacious living and formal dining rooms including a fireplace, sunroom, two-car garage with golf cart parking and master suite with a spa tub. Three different floor plan choices are offered and you may further personalize your two-bedroom-plus home to suit your individual tastes.
Can you tell me about the meals you serve?
Dining at Regency Park is always special. With five different dining venues and three different menus to choose from, you’ll have a different experience every day. For quick dining and a casual atmosphere, the Bermuda Room offers homemade soups and substantial sandwiches and salads. Tradewinds is another great option at lunch time and in the evening. This restaurant is a favorite, offering a variety of tempting “hometown” entrée choices and chef specials. For upscale dining, experience The Martinique Room where filet mignon, lamp chops, sea scallops and more are always available in addition to the nightly specials created solely for this dining venue. If you really feel like celebrating, make reservations for Bogart’s where a seven course culinary delight awaits each evening, replete with your favorite vintage wines. On Sunday, you won’t want to miss brunch with made-to-order omelets along with a scrumptious buffet featuring decadent desserts. Regency Park also provides on-site catering, take-out and delivery services.
What on-site activities, wellness programs and amenities are available?
Regency Park offers a wide range of lifestyle opportunities that include social, educational, wellness and spiritual activities arranged through our Life Enrichment department. Pursuing hobbies or discovering new interests is encouraged. Our Clubhouse features a fully equipped state-of-the-art fitness center and outdoor heated pool and spa. Choose from a variety of group exercise programs ranging from strength training to water aerobics, or utilize our personal trainer to develop a tailor-made program just for you.
The interests enjoyed by our residents vary from painting to jewelry design, golfing to tennis, playing party and duplicate bridge to donating time to charitable organizations in the area. What kind of transportation services does Regency Park provide?
Regency Park provides luxury transportation to doctor’s appointments and the nearby Indian River Medical Center. There are also scheduled trips to grocery stores, banks, area attractions and cultural events, malls and shopping centers and to religious services.
How often does the housekeeper come in?
The housekeeping staff cleans your apartment or villa once a week, including vacuuming and mopping the floors, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, washing and changing linens and dusting. The housekeeping staff launders your linens in your own washer and dryer.
Are internet access and cable TV included?
Regency Park includes high speed internet access and basic cable TV in the monthly fee. You will have broadband access which is many times faster than dial-up service and many channels to view your favorite television programs.
Do you have someone who can help me plan my move?
Regency Park can provide you with local and out-of-state movers that will help insure a care-free move.
What is the minimum age to move to Regency Park?
The minimum age is 55 years of age, but many residents are in their 70’s or older.
How will I meet new people when I move in?
Our residents are friendly, active and outgoing people. In addition to our resident-focused Director of Resident Services who can introduce you to people with like interests, our ongoing social events, friendship tables, new resident cocktail parties and resident-run Ambassador Program will help you settle in to your new home.
Do you allow pets?
Regency Park welcomes pets that are under 25 pounds. We have designated outdoor spaces for their owners to use as well as places where our furry friends can meet each other for play dates. Villa residents are able to have a slightly larger pet.
Is there assigned seating in the dining room?
Although some residents choose to sit at the same table with the same friends at dinner, we do not assign seats in our dining rooms. Tables may be reserved up to three days in advance in both our Martinique and Bogart fine dining rooms.
Can I entertain guests?
You are welcome to invite your friends and family to dine in any of the Regency Park dining venues. An additional charge will apply, and advance reservations are requested. You can also reserve the Regency Room, an intimate dining venue that comfortably seats twelve for special occasions.
Do residents have a voice in the community?
Regency Park has a Resident Association Board, elected by the residents, which meets monthly with the Executive Director to provide valuable input on the services and programs provided by the community.
Do you have guest suites for when my friends and family visit?
Regency Park has three guest suites that can be reserved when your friends and family visit. Rates for guest suites vary according to the season but are competitively priced.
Is health care provided on site?
Preventive health care and wellness programs, provided by our associates and health care partners are included in your monthly service fee. Additional services are available on a fee-for-service basis. Residents have several options open to them should the need for short-term care arise. Residents can either have a home health aide assist them in their home, or they can select an apartment at HarborChase, our assisted living community, on a priority placement basis.
